Compassion and empathy are at the heart of Tyler's therapeutic approach. He strives to create a non-judgmental space where clients are an active participant in their own healing and recovery. His current work as a School Social Worker and Clinical Coordinator of the BRYT (Bridge for resilience Youth in Transition) program includes mental health counseling, academic support, social skills development, and crisis intervention. He believes in creating a safe and supportive space where adolescents can freely express themselves, explore their identity, and address the challenges they may face during this transformative phase of life.

Tyler believes that every individual possesses inner strength and the capacity to bounce back from difficult circumstances. He has a deep respect for the inherent dignity and worth of every individual. By employing evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing, among others, he works with his clients towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Tyler holds a Master of Social Work degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Organizational Communication from Stonehill College. In his free time, you can find him coaching soccer and Ultimate disc, in addition to spending time with family and friends.
